Hannah has been skating since she was 3 years old in Newfoundland. She first attended the Mariposa Summer Camp when she was 10 and moved to Barrie when she was 13. Hannah participated in the Mariposa highschool co-op program with Innisdale throughout high school. After graduating, she took her passion for figure skating and athletics and received her BSc. Kinesiology at York University where she also coached the YorkU figure skating team.
Since beginning her coaching career at 16, Hannah has coached at multiple Skate Canada clubs and schools in Ontario, as well as her homeclub in Newfoundland. She was the head coach of the York University figure skating team for three years and spent one year as the TMU Freeskate coach. With her background in kinesiology, Hannah takes a holistic approach to her athletes. She strives to instill confidence by ensuring they are prepared and are equipped with the knowledge to succeed.
Hannah continues to further her education by consulting with Mariposa experts and specialists. She is also pursuing graduate level education at McMaster University while coaching.
