Edge and Balance
Edge and Balance- Plus for individual player is a 5 week program. This program is specifically designed by Paul Matheson to build a foundation of balance and edge awareness that is a key first step in the development of players at this particular age and level.
There are Five series in total;
- Crossovers
- Backwards
- Acceleration
- Tight Turns and Transitions
- Tight Turns and Escapes
Maximum 12 skaters with two Mariposa School of Skating Coaches.

Power Skating
Power Skating with James Callan- Explosive acceleration, proper use of edges, improved lateral movement, increased balance, precise stopping, body checking, puck control and play making drills. Our focus is aiding the player to take his or her game to the next level.

Summer Camp (Canskate, Figure and Hockey Skating) 2025
Summer Pre-Canskate; Canskate 2025
Pre-CanSkate is a dynamic learn-to-skate program that focuses on fun, participation and basic skill development. Based on Skate Canada’s long term athlete development (LTAD) principles, CanSkate centers on physical literacy and the fundamental skills needed to take part in any ice sport or to skate as a recreational activity. Pre-Canskaters must be 2-4 years of age. If your child is under 6 years of age and has completed the PreCanskate Ribbon, they may register for the CANSKATE program.
CanSkate is a dynamic learn-to-skate program that focuses on fun, participation and basic skill development. Based on Skate Canada’s long term athlete development (LTAD) principles, CanSkate centers on physical literacy and the fundamental skills needed to take part in any ice sport or to skate as a recreational activity. Canskaters must be 5 years of age OR passed stage one to do this program. Taught by NCCP-trained professional coaches, assisted by trained program assistants.Summer Hockey Skating Camp 2025
