Spring School COVID-19

Unfortunately we have had to make the difficult decision to postpone some of our Spring School Programs. As of now the program affected are listed below, please let us know if you have any questions. Be rest assured we will be back in action as soon as it is deemed safe for all of us to get back on the ice and enjoying the sport we love. For many of us skating is not just a sport, it is more than that, it is an extension of ourselves. It is our arena and our home the canvas by which we express ourselves. Keep up your off-ice conditioning and reach out to your coaches for guidance. Take care of each other, please listen to the authorities so we can all get through this.

As the situation continues to evolve with the COVID-19 virus, we will communicate on all social media platforms and on our website when relevant information that impacts Mariposa skaters and coaching team becomes available. All Programs will be suspended until Mid May. All skaters registered for the affected programming will be refunded.
Current Mariposa policy is that if you travel abroad, you will be asked to self-isolate for 14 days before returning to skating. Please appreciate that this is a fluid situation and we have no idea how long this restriction will last.
City of Barrie staff are ensuring increased sanitizing practices on all common touch points and public spaces at all City facilities and Barrie Transit buses. Public education focusing on hand washing and cough etiquette has been increased in high traffic locations and residents who do not feel well are being reminded to stay home.

Let us know if you have any questions

I have been bringing skaters to the Mariposa Seminar for 18 years. Every year is a fabulous experience for both my skaters as well as myself. It never ceases to amaze me how professional everyone is and how willing this team of coaches is to share information to both the skaters as well as the coaches at the seminar.
