About the Program
PRE-CANSKATE This program is for skaters ages 2-4
Pre-CanSkate is a dynamic learn-to-skate program that focuses on fun and basic skill development. Our Pre-Can program is designed with the young learner in mind. Play based lessons with extra assistance and confidence building is a key component of this program. Building a positive relationship with on-ice activities is instrumental in Skate Canada’s long term athlete development (LTAD) principles. CanSkate centers on physical literacy and the fundamental skills needed to take part in any ice sport or to skate as a recreational activity. This is a non parent participation program.
Taught by NCCP-trained professional coaches, assisted by trained program assistants.
If your skater has received a PRE CAN ribbon or STAGE ONE, they may register for Canskate
