Canskate is designed to teach skaters the fundamentals of Balance, Agility and Control. Pre Canskate is a fun environment with bright colours and age appropriate teaching aids. As skater begin to be able to get up and move without assistance, they will be moved to a group within the canskate session to allow them to progress at their own pace. In the Pre Canskate program it is our goal to teach skaters independence by being able to get up on their own and balance without assistance while providing a fun and safe atmosphere for them to learn. Skater to coach ratio is 5:1. This is a Non-parent participation class.

Kudos to Mariposa! While you continue to provide 'standard of excellence' your seminar encompassed a healthy and positive atmosphere. No matter the age, the home club location, it was all so heart warming to watch figure skaters on the ice working so hard.
