About the Program

This camp is for Hockey/Ringette players. Full gear is not required- please do not bring your full gear with you.  A stick is permitted. This Program runs from 9:00 am-4:00 pm Monday to Friday. Weekly and Daily options available.

The Mariposa March Break Camp is the only skating camp in the area to offer multi-sport participation from NCCP qualified coaches. The camp offers training on and off the ice for accelerated hockey development in daily group lessons. 2 hours of ice divided up through the day

Spend your March Break improving your skating while learning valuable physical development on land and ICE!

All skaters must be registered with Skate Canada. If you have not registered with Skate Canada, please indicate that below and follow the link provided to register with Skate Canada- this membership is renewable each September. If you have a home club already (for example, the Barrie Skating Club), please contact your home club to register for the 2025-2026 season.

Over the past 2 years our hockey team has participated in Mariposa’s skating program as part of our team development. I have observed immediate and long term results from each of our players edges, agility and Transitions. The results have been remarkable and as a coach I firmly believe in the skill of skating as critical foundation to any player.
